The Max Perutz Student Prize
The Max Perutz Student Prize, named in honour of Max Perutz, is awarded annually for outstanding work performed at the LMB prior to the award of a PhD. Nominees should hold, or have recently held, a studentship at the LMB and have spent fewer than four years on their PhD.
First presented in 1984, the award is the oldest of those bestowed by the Max Perutz Fund – a charity that promotes and advances education and research in molecular biology and allied sciences at the LMB.
